Agentic Cybersecurity Analyzer
A multi-agent desktop application that scans repositories and websites for vulnerabilities, offering automated remediation and compliance reporting.

Project Overview
The Agentic Cybersecurity Analyzer is a cross-platform desktop application designed to act as an intelligent security assistant. It combines a user-friendly Electron/React frontend with a powerful FastAPI and LangChain backend to scan code repositories and live websites for vulnerabilities, generating actionable reports and compliance checks.
The Problem
Security audits often require juggling multiple specialized tools, manually correlating findings, and translating technical vulnerabilities into actionable remediation steps or compliance violations. This fragmented process slows down development cycles and makes continuous security testing difficult for teams without dedicated security personnel.
The Goal
Build a unified, conversational interface that orchestrates industry-standard security tools autonomously. The system should not only find vulnerabilities but also explain them, recommend solutions, and map them to specific compliance frameworks when requested.
What Was Built
1. Cross-Platform Desktop Interface
Built using ElectronJS and ReactJS, the application provides a seamless, chat-like interface where users can interact naturally with the AI assistant, request scans, and review detailed vulnerability reports without leaving their workflow.
2. Multi-Agent Reasoning Backend
A robust FastAPI backend leverages LangChain to manage complex language reasoning pipelines. Multiple specialized agents coordinate to understand user requests, dispatch the appropriate scanning tools, and synthesize the results.
3. Automated Vulnerability Scanning
The system integrates with industry-standard tools like ZAP (Zed Attack Proxy) and OWASP utilities to autonomously scan target repositories and websites, identifying security flaws ranging from misconfigurations to injection vulnerabilities.
4. Intelligent Reporting and Remediation
Instead of raw tool output, the pipeline synthesizes findings into clear, structured reports detailing the specific issue, its severity, and recommended solutions for remediation.
5. Context-Aware Compliance Checking
Users can ask the agent to evaluate findings against particular compliance documents or frameworks. The system maps discovered vulnerabilities to specific compliance violations, streamlining the auditing process.
